Komatireddy Announces ₹25 Lakh Financial Aid for Revathi's Family
In response to the tragic stampede incident outside Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad during the premiere of Pushpa-2, Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has announced a financial assistance of ₹25 lakh to the family of Revathi, who lost her life in the incident. Her nine-year-old son, Sritej, is currently undergoing treatment in a hospital.
Speaking in the state assembly today, Komatireddy stated that the financial assistance would be provided through the Komatireddy Prateek Reddy Foundation. The minister criticized actor Allu Arjun, alleging that the promises made by the actor to provide compensation to the family were not fulfilled.
Komatireddy further assured that all medical expenses for Sritej’s treatment will be borne by the government until his full recovery. The Minister emphasized that the state’s Health Department Secretary would oversee the child’s healthcare arrangements.
He also committed to ensuring that such incidents do not recur in the future.
