Revanth Reddy Criticizes Allu Arjun; CM Declares Ban on Benefit Shows and Ticket Price Hikes
In a fiery statement in the Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched sharp criticism against film actor Allu Arjun. Questioning the actor's behavior, Revanth Reddy said, "Is Allu Arjun even human? Are there people like this in the world?" He condemned the actor's actions during a chaotic incident outside a theater, which reportedly led to the death of a woman.
Revanth alleged that despite warnings from the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) about the deteriorating situation outside the theater, Allu Arjun refused to leave, insisting he would finish watching the movie first. "The DCP warned him that failure to leave would necessitate his arrest, following which the actor was forcibly escorted into a car," he added.
The Chief Minister further criticized the actor for allegedly waving to the crowd from the car's rooftop after the incident, asking, "What should one think of a person who behaves this way even after such a tragedy?" He accused Allu Arjun of being responsible for the woman’s death, highlighting his actions as insensitive and inappropriate.
Revanth Reddy also announced significant policy decisions regarding the film industry. He declared that benefit shows and ticket price hikes for films would no longer be permitted during his tenure as Chief Minister. “As long as I am the Chief Minister, there will be no benefit shows or increases in ticket prices,” he stated firmly.
