Visakhapatnam to Get Metro Rail Soon: CM Chandrababu
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu participated as the chief guest in the Navy Day celebrations held in Visakhapatnam today. During his speech, he highlighted that Visakhapatnam is the economic capital of Andhra Pradesh. He further announced that metro rail services will soon be introduced in the city, a move expected to bolster its urban infrastructure. Describing Visakhapatnam as synonymous with tranquility, the Chief Minister expressed confidence in transforming the city into a prominent technology hub with the concerted efforts of the coalition government.
Commenting on the impressive naval exercises conducted by the Indian Navy along the coast, Chandrababu Naidu lauded the discipline of the navy personnel, remarking that it was a visual spectacle. He recalled his previous visits to the city, stating that this occasion felt particularly special. Referring to the devastating Hudhud cyclone that struck Visakhapatnam in the past, he expressed gratitude for the navy's invaluable support during that critical time in providing relief to those affected.
