Allu Arjun Incident: Revanth Reddy Responds Again in Davos

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has addressed the issue surrounding the stampede at Sandhya Theatre on RTC Crossroads in Hyderabad during the premiere of Pushpa-2. The incident resulted in one death and raised questions about actor Allu Arjun’s involvement. Speaking to an English media representative during his visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Revanth Reddy shared his perspective.
When asked if Allu Arjun was directly responsible for the stampede, Revanth Reddy explained, “Two days before the event, police denied permission for the gathering. Despite this, Allu Arjun went to the theatre. His presence attracted a massive crowd of fans, leading to security staff pushing people aside. This resulted in a stampede, where one person tragically lost life. While Allu Arjun may not have directly caused the death, he failed to address the victim’s family for nearly ten to twelve days. The law will take its course in this matter.”
Responding to a follow-up question regarding Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s comment that arresting Allu Arjun would be inappropriate, Revanth Reddy stated, “Chandrababu Naidu may not be fully aware of the reasons behind Allu Arjun’s arrest.”
