Group-2 Paper Designed to Benefit Andhra Candidates: RS Praveen Kumar

BRS senior leader RS Praveen Kumar alleged that the Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) designed the Group-2 examination paper to benefit only Andhra Pradesh candidates under the non-local quota. He claimed that the paper was deliberately crafted to include questions targeting Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Congress, and other political forces opposed to Telangana's interests.

Expressing his discontent, Praveen Kumar criticized the omission of Telangana’s historical milestones and significant contributions by the former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), now BRS, which played a pivotal role in the Telangana movement. He alleged that this was a calculated step toward erasing KCR’s legacy, orchestrated by the present Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Ridiculing the preparation process, Praveen Kumar remarked that the Group-2 question papers seemed to have been prepared casually at Gandhi Bhavan and NTR Trust Bhavan while enjoying Atreyapuram Putharekulu, a traditional sweet. He asserted that regardless of attempts by Revanth Reddy's leadership, KCR’s contributions to Telangana could not be erased.

He further warned against forces acting against Telangana's progress, vowing not to spare those betraying the state. Highlighting ongoing struggles, he praised farmers in Lagacherla for their relentless fight inspired by Komaram Bheem's legacy, asserting that their movement has the potential to reshape national politics.

Praveen Kumar also accused Revanth Reddy's brother, Tirupati Reddy, of operating as an unconstitutional power. He emphasized that KTR, under KCR’s leadership, has been fighting for constitutional rights, particularly the right to life guaranteed to Telangana people. He credited KTR’s efforts toward transforming Hyderabad into a city comparable to leading European metropolises.
