Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena Clarifies Stand on Delimitation Meeting

Janasena Party has clarified that reports about its representatives attending the delimitation meeting led by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in Chennai are merely speculations. The party issued an official statement on social media stating that no Janasena representatives participated in the meeting.

The statement noted that while an invitation was extended to Janasena to attend the all-party meeting, they informed the organizers that they could not participate. This decision was made based on the direction of Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan, who cited the reason that it would be inappropriate to attend the meeting since the parties involved belong to different political alliances.

Janasena further emphasized that while other parties may have their views on the delimitation issue, Janasena also has its own perspective and will express its stance at an appropriate platform.

Meanwhile, the DMK government in Tamil Nadu continues to strongly oppose the delimitation process proposed by the Modi-led central government, which aims to restructure constituencies based on the 2026 population census. Chief Minister Stalin is reportedly preparing to launch a national-level campaign against this proposal. As part of this effort, he has been gathering support from representatives of southern states, including organizing the all-party meeting held in Chennai. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was among those who attended the meeting.
