Revanth Reddy Compares KCR to Rakhi Sawant

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy launched a sharp attack on former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), mocking his statements and political stance. Addressing a gathering at the annual celebrations of a government school in Mogiligidda, Ranga Reddy district, Revanth Reddy ridiculed KCR’s claims and challenged his credibility.

He referred to a social media poll comparing himself and KCR, stating, "Apparently, KCR received more votes. But if a poll is conducted between Salman Khan and Rakhi Sawant, Rakhi might get more votes. Does that mean Salman Khan is no longer a star?" He criticized KCR’s leadership, questioning, "Are you swaying or stumbling?"

Revanth Reddy accused the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government of pushing Telangana into debt despite its wealthy status. He alleged that the previous administration had mismanaged finances to the extent that it could not even provide the promised Rythu Bandhu assistance to farmers. "They falsely claimed Telangana was a prosperous state but left it buried in debt," he said. He assured that unlike KCR, he would fulfill his promises, pointing out that schemes like Dalit Bandhu and Rythu Bandhu had been neglected under the previous government.

He further stated that KCR lost the elections due to spreading falsehoods. "In the parliamentary elections, the people gave KCR a resounding zero," he remarked. Challenging KCR to attend the Assembly, he said, "If he has the courage, let him come to the Assembly. We will clearly state which village and which farmer benefited from our loan waivers." Revanth Reddy criticized KCR for staying at his farmhouse for 14 months and accused him of deploying K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) and Harish Rao to counter him.

He asserted that KCR had failed to learn from his electoral defeat. "If he has the guts, let him come to the Assembly. Let's discuss the ABCD categorization," he challenged. Comparing KCR to an obsolete ₹1,000 currency note, he accused him of breaking promises, such as allocating ₹100 crore each for the Vemulawada Rajarajeshwara Swamy Temple and the Jahangir Peer Dargah. Additionally, he blamed KCR for neglecting the Palamuru project.
