CM Chandrababu Orders Inquiry into Land Encroachment Allegations Against Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has ordered an investigation into allegations of land encroachment involving former minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy. He has directed that a thorough probe be conducted into the matter.

In response, a joint committee has been formed, comprising Chittoor District Collector Sumit, Superintendent of Police Manikanta Chandolu, and Anantapur Conservator of Forests Yashoda Bai. The committee is tasked with conducting a comprehensive inquiry and submitting a report. Based on the findings, the Andhra Pradesh government will take further action.

According to sources, a preliminary report on the issue has already been submitted to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. It is believed that approximately 75 acres of forest land have been encroached upon.
