CM Revanth Reddy and Senior Telangana Congress Leaders Meet K.C. Venugopal in Delhi
A crucial meeting of key Telangana Congress leaders, including Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and other senior leaders, was held in Delhi on Tuesday. The meeting took place at the residence of Congress Party General Secretary K.C. Venugopal. Among those present were TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Damodar Raja Narasimha, Ponnam Prabhakar, Seethakka, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and Konda Surekha.
The leaders discussed various issues related to Telangana for about an hour and a half. According to party sources, the discussions also covered cabinet expansion and other crucial matters.
Following the meeting, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud briefed the media. He revealed that a major public meeting featuring Rahul Gandhi is being planned in Telangana for February, with potential venues being Suryapet or Khammam. Goud further stated that by the end of January, positions for nominated posts and corporation chairpersons will be finalized. He added that decisions on cabinet expansion will be taken by the Chief Minister in consultation with the party’s high command.
Goud also mentioned that discussions were held regarding the composition of the PCC executive committee. He stressed that the party is committed to appointing DCC (District Congress Committee) presidents who maintain a strong connection with the public.
