They Brainwashed My Mother, Says Manchu Manoj Amid University Clash

High drama unfolded today at Mohan Babu University in Tirupati, where actor Manchu Manoj was stopped by police from entering the premises. The police clarified that they were acting in accordance with court orders and could not allow him inside the campus.

During this tense situation, a clash erupted between bouncers employed by Mohan Babu and those accompanying Manchu Manoj. Both groups engaged in a physical altercation, including stone-pelting. Speaking to the media, Manchu Manoj stated, “I did not come here to fight. I came to pay my respects at my grandfather’s and grandmother’s memorials.” He alleged that he was being denied entry because he had raised questions about student-related matters, and criticized the university authorities for barring him from entering.

Manoj further claimed that his mother had been manipulated, saying, “They brainwashed my mother and got her to sign papers by making her write down matters she didn’t understand. Wherever they ask her to sign, she signs without knowing what it is.” He also accused the university of hiring bouncers from Delhi after learning about his visit. Expressing anger, he said, “I alone am enough. I will chase them down one by one.”

Later in the evening, the police allowed Manchu Manoj to enter the university. Accompanied by his wife Mounika, he paid respects at the memorials of his grandparents before leaving the premises.
