Tirupati Stampede: CM Chandrababu Suspends Two Officials

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu took swift action in response to the stampede incident at Tirupati by ordering a judicial inquiry and making significant administrative decisions after personally visiting the site and interacting with the injured at the hospital. Following a detailed review, he announced the suspension of two senior officials, DSP Ramanakumar and Goshala Director Haranath Reddy, holding them responsible for the mishap.

In addition to the suspensions, the Chief Minister ordered the transfer of three other officials. District SP Subbarayudu, TTD JEO Gautami and TTD CSO Sridhar were transferred as part of the administrative measures taken in the aftermath of the incident. After meeting with the injured and assessing the situation on the ground, Chandrababu Naidu addressed a press conference, outlining the actions taken to ensure accountability and prevent such incidents in the future.
