I Know Everything, But I Can’t Say It: Varra Ravindra Reddy on First Day of Custody
Sources revealed that Ravindra Reddy did not provide a clear answer to questions regarding who encouraged him to post such content. Instead, he is said to have repeatedly claimed that he knew the answers but could not disclose them. His lawyer Obul Reddy was present during the interrogation, where audio and video recordings of the session were made.
During the investigation, police seized 43 Facebook accounts linked to Varra Ravindra Reddy. These accounts reportedly contained offensive posts targeting Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, ministers Pawan Kalyan, Nara Lokesh, Anitha, their family members, and Y.S. Sharmila along with her mother Vijayamma and Sunitha.
When confronted with the offensive posts, Reddy allegedly admitted to posting them himself. However, he also claimed that 18 fake accounts had been created in his name without his knowledge to post similar content.
Following the completion of yesterday’s custody, a medical examination was conducted, after which Reddy was transferred to Kadapa jail. The investigation is set to continue today as well.
