AP Government Permits Price Hike for ‘Game Changer’ Movie Tickets
The much-anticipated film Game Changer, starring global star Ram Charan and directed by South Indian star director Shankar, is set for a grand release on January 10 as a Sankranti festival treat. Produced under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the big-budget film has been generating significant buzz.
In this context, the Andhra Pradesh government has granted permission for an increase in ticket prices. Specifically, benefit show tickets can now be sold at ₹600 each. The benefit shows are scheduled to commence at 1 AM on January 9. Additionally, the government has issued orders allowing up to six shows on January 10.
According to the issued orders, multiplex theaters are allowed to charge an additional ₹175 per ticket, while single-screen theaters can charge up to ₹135 extra. Furthermore, the government has approved the screening of five shows per day at these revised prices from January 11 to January 23.
