Allu Arjun’s Residence Attacked: Komatireddy Venkat Reddy Responds
Hyderabad witnessed tense moments after an incident at Sandhya Theatre led to unrest involving popular actor Allu Arjun. Members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OU JAC) entered Allu Arjun’s residence in Jubilee Hills, causing damage to property. Protesters reportedly threw tomatoes and eggs, shattered flowerpots, and accused Allu Arjun of being responsible for the death of a woman named Revathi. They attempted to storm the house while raising slogans against the actor.
Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy addressed the incident on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He condemned the physical attack, emphasizing that such actions have no place in a democracy. “No one should act in a manner that disrupts law and order. The Sandhya Theatre incident is under the court’s jurisdiction, and the law will take its course,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the individuals involved in the attack on Allu Arjun’s residence were taken into custody and remanded by the court. Shortly thereafter, they filed a bail petition. The court, after reviewing the plea, granted them bail.
