Chandrababu Conducts Review Amid Heavy Rains in Uttarandhra
Due to the impact of a low-pressure system, heavy rains have been lashing the Uttarandhra region, causing turbulent sea conditions. Against this backdrop, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu held a review meeting with officials from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) to assess the situation. During the meeting, district-level officials briefed the Chief Minister on the prevailing conditions and the actions being taken by collectors and other authorities. They also informed him about the declaration of holidays for schools in affected areas.
Addressing the officials, Chandrababu Naidu noted that crops in certain regions had already suffered damage. He instructed authorities to collect detailed data on crop losses post-rainfall and ensure appropriate assistance is provided to the affected farmers. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of timely communication of rainfall-related updates to farmers. He also directed officials at all levels to remain vigilant and work proactively to mitigate potential risks and damages.
