Telangana Government Announces Good News for Home Guards

The Telangana government has delivered good news for home guards in the state by increasing their Dearness Allowance (DA). The DA has been raised from ₹921 to ₹1,000, with official orders issued to this effect. Additionally, the Weekly Parade Allowance has been increased from ₹100 to ₹200.

The government also announced an ex-gratia payment of ₹5 lakh for families of home guards who lose their lives in the line of duty.
