Kavitha Condemns Congress MLA’s Comments on Velama Community

Kalvakuntla Kavitha, BRS MLC, has responded to controversial comments made by Shadnagar Congress MLA Veerlapalli Shankar about the Velama community. Representatives of the Velama community have already filed a complaint at the police station, alleging that the MLA’s remarks were derogatory.

Reacting to the incident, Kavitha condemned Shankar’s comments, stating that such remarks are inappropriate for someone holding public office. She questioned whether the remarks reflected Shankar’s personal views or represented the stance of the Congress party. Kavitha demanded that chief minister Revanth Reddy and TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud clarify their position on the issue.
