The arrest of ISKCON preacher Chinmoy Krishna Das in Bangladesh has sparked widespread concern in India. Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has reacted strongly, urging collective efforts to address the issue. He expressed deep distress over the targeting of Hindus in Bangladesh and called for an end to such acts.
Pawan Kalyan appealed to Bangladesh's interim Prime Minister, Muhammad Yunus, to take action to halt attacks on the Hindu community. He shared these sentiments on the social media platform X.
During his visit to Delhi, Pawan Kalyan addressed the media regarding corruption allegations against former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. He mentioned that the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is scrutinizing the Adani bribery allegations and that the matter will be discussed in the state cabinet meeting for further decisions. He also highlighted various irregularities under the previous administration, stating that all issues will be thoroughly investigated, and necessary actions will be taken.
Pawan Kalyan further noted that illegal transportation of red sandalwood from Andhra Pradesh had been intercepted in Karnataka.
