TDP, BJP, Jana Sena stage protest against power tariff hike in AP

Protesting against the power tariff hike, the activists of Telugu Desam, BJP, and Jana Sena organised rallies and protests across the state on Friday. In Vijayawada, former MLA and TDP leader Bonda Umamaheswara Rao alleged that the YSRCP government had burdened the poor and middle-class families compared to rich.
     
While justifying the fuel price hike by the Modi government, BJP state president Somu Veerraju has demanded the state government to roll back power price increase. In Rajamahendravaram, a rally was organised from Deluxe Centre to Superintending Engineer office under the leadership of senior TDP leader and MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary.
