Pawan Kalyan on Jana Sena's Tamil Nadu Plans and Stalin’s Leadership

Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and leader of the Jana Sena Party, made significant comments regarding the party's expansion into Tamil Nadu. He stated that if the people of Tamil Nadu desire it, Jana Sena will definitely establish a presence in the state. He praised Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, describing him as a good person without any vindictive intentions, and commended his broad-minded approach.
Pawan Kalyan emphasized that establishing a party is not as important as sustaining it. He noted that politics demands a great deal of patience. He remarked that it is not easy for film actors to succeed in politics, acknowledging that only Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) had managed to achieve such success. He described NTR's feat of forming a government within nine months of founding a party as remarkable.
Pawan Kalyan stated that he looks up to leaders like C.N. Annadurai and M.G. Ramachandran (MGR) from Tamil Nadu as role models. He added that the kind of opportunities that NTR and MGR had received have not been granted to others. He stressed that popularity and financial resources are not as important as how well a party’s ideology resonates with the people.
He described the political arena as extremely challenging, saying that everyone is an opponent in politics. He acknowledged that politics inevitably affects personal life. When asked about the political prospects of Tamil actors Vijay and Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) working together, he said he could not predict whether their political chemistry would succeed. He also expressed uncertainty about the possibility of vote-sharing between their supporters.
Pawan Kalyan remarked that the alliance between the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena in Andhra Pradesh had worked well. However, he said it remains unclear whether a similar understanding could be reached between the cadres of the Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in Tamil Nadu.
