Anchor Shyamala Approaches Telangana High Court
Anchor Shyamala has approached the Telangana High Court, seeking the quashing of a case filed against her in connection with a betting app promotion. She has filed a quash petition, which is scheduled for hearing today. The case was registered at the Panjagutta Police Station, alleging that Shyamala acted as a promoter for betting apps.
In related developments, social media influencer Ritu Chowdhary and TV anchor Vishnu Priya were extensively questioned at Panjagutta Police Station on Thursday over promoting online betting apps on social media platforms.
Several prominent YouTubers have also been booked in connection with the matter. Telangana RTC MD VC Sajjanar has been actively fighting against the promotion of betting apps.
