YSRCP’s Ponnavolu Warns Ruling Party of Retaliation After Elections

Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy, YSRCP Legal Cell leader and former Additional Advocate General, has warned that while ruling party leaders are currently showing only a “trailer,” the YSRCP will show them the “full movie” once it returns to power after the elections. He made these remarks while speaking to the media at former MLA Bolla Brahma Naidu’s office in Vinukonda, Palnadu district.
Sudhakar Reddy stated that the rule of law prevailed throughout the five-year governance of the YSRCP. He alleged that the current ruling party is harassing and chasing down their party leaders. Referring to Nageswara Rao from Bommarajupalle in Epuru Mandal, he questioned how making a satirical comment about governance could be considered a crime.
He mentioned that when the police detained Nageswara Rao, he filed a lunch motion petition in the High Court. Additionally, Sudhakar Reddy criticized the police for failing to resolve a woman’s murder case in Enugupalem, Vinukonda Mandal, even after more than a year, and suggested that they should be ashamed of their inefficiency.
The statements were made during a press conference held yesterday at the office of former MLA Bolla Brahma Naidu in Vinukonda.
