Malayalam Horror Movie ‘Hunt’ Set to Premiere on OTT

Malayalam filmmakers have a unique and intriguing approach to crime thrillers and murder mysteries, which has contributed to the growing popularity of such films and web series on OTT platforms. In line with this trend, a Malayalam horror movie is now set to make its way to digital streaming. The film, titled Hunt, was released in theaters on August 23 and is now gearing up for its OTT debut.

According to reports, Hunt will be available for streaming on Manorama Max starting March 28. The film features actress Bhavana in the lead role, with prominent performances from Renji Panicker, Ajmal Ameer, Chandhunath, Anu Mohan, and Aditi Ravi. Kailas Menon has composed the music for the film.

The story revolves around Keerthi (played by Bhavana), a forensic doctor who becomes involved in the investigation of a murder case. During her research, she discovers that the victim, who was killed long ago, was Dr. Sara. Following this revelation, Keerthi starts experiencing a series of unexplained and eerie events. The film’s plot delves into the mystery of Sara’s identity, the circumstances of her murder, and what her spirit is trying to convey.
