Chiranjeevi’s Upcoming Film to Showcase Village Culture

Director Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming project with Megastar Chiranjeevi is set to begin production in the first week of June. Unlike recent films that have primarily been shot on grand studio sets, this new venture will take place in a picturesque rural setting—a return to the kind of village-themed films Chiranjeevi was known for in the past. The film is being planned for a Sankranti release.

The production house has assured that the film will be packed with entertainment. Reports suggest that actress Aditi Rao Hydari has been cast as the female lead, though an official confirmation is yet to be made. Additionally, music directors Bheems Ceciroleo and Ramana Gogula—who previously delivered a blockbuster hit with Sankranti Ki Vastunnaam—are expected to compose the soundtrack for this project.

Recently, the film's production team visited the Simhadri Appanna temple to perform script-related rituals before commencing filming. Over the years, many films have been shot in controlled studio environments with elaborate set designs. However, this project will take a different approach by capturing the beauty of rural landscapes, reminiscent of classic village-based films.

Chiranjeevi has previously starred in several successful films set in a rural backdrop, including Ooriki Ichina Maata, Palleturi Monagadu, Sivudu Sivudu Sivudu, Khaidi, Alluda Majaka, Aapadbandhavudu, Indra, and Simhapuri Simham. These films not only entertained audiences but also vividly showcased rural culture, traditions, and way of life.
