Judge Denies Relief Despite Emotional Plea, Posani Krishna Murali Sent to 14-Day Remand

Cine actor Posani Krishna Murali faced another legal setback as the Guntur court remanded him to 14 days in judicial custody in a case related to his alleged derogatory remarks against Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Minister Nara Lokesh. Following the court’s order, he was transferred to Guntur district jail.
Despite securing bail in all previous cases filed against him, Posani Krishna Murali’s anticipated release from Kurnool jail was interrupted when Guntur CID police filed a PT (Prisoner Transit) warrant against him. He had approached the High Court with a lunch motion petition seeking to quash the PT warrant, but the court dismissed his plea.
Meanwhile, police transferred him from Kurnool to Guntur and presented him before the CID court. During the hearing, Posani Krishna Murali reportedly broke down in front of the judge, pleading that his health was deteriorating and stating that if bail was denied, he had no option but to consider suicide. After hearing arguments from both sides, the judge ruled for a 14-day remand.
