Posani Faces Setback in AP High Court
Actor and politician Posani Krishna Murali faced a setback in the Andhra Pradesh High Court as his attempt to halt a CID prisoner transit (PT) warrant was unsuccessful. The High Court dismissed the lunch motion petition filed by Posani, rejecting his plea to cancel the PT warrant issued against him.
Following the court's decision, Posani was reportedly disappointed. The Public Prosecutor informed the court that Posani had already been taken into custody in Kurnool based on the PT warrant. He further stated that arrangements were being made to bring Posani from Kurnool to present him before the magistrate in Mangalagiri.
After hearing arguments from both sides, the judge ruled against Posani's petition, affirming the validity of the CID's PT warrant.
