Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s Three-Day Police Custody Ends; To Be Shifted to Jail Soon

Former MLA and YSR Congress Party leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s three-day police custody in connection with the Satyavardhan kidnapping case has ended. The SC/ST Court in Vijayawada had earlier granted a three-day custody of Vamsi to the police for questioning. During this period, he was interrogated at the Krishnalanka Police Station.

Following the completion of his interrogation today, Vamsi was taken to a government hospital for medical examinations. Authorities are now preparing to transfer him to jail.

Along with Vamsi, two other accused, Lakshmipathi and Sivarama Krishna, were also questioned by the police. Investigators sought to determine their involvement in the kidnapping of Satyavardhan. According to sources, both suspects allegedly stated that they took Satyavardhan on Vamsi’s instructions. However, Vamsi reportedly denied any involvement during the interrogation. He also claimed that he was unaware of the whereabouts of his three mobile phones.
