Vallabhaneni Vamsi's Judicial Remand Extended by Court

YSR Congress Party leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi, who is in judicial remand in connection with the alleged kidnapping of Satyavardhan, had his remand extended by the court. As his remand period ended today, police presented Vamsi virtually before the magistrate from Vijayawada Jail and requested an extension. The court granted the request, extending his remand.

Meanwhile, in the same case, the Patamata police took Vallabhaneni Vamsi into custody for further interrogation. The court had already approved a three-day custody period. During this time, the court allowed Vamsi’s lawyer to meet him four times. Additionally, the court stipulated that the interrogation must take place within the Vijayawada jurisdiction.

At present, the police are escorting Vallabhaneni Vamsi to a government hospital for a medical examination before commencing the interrogation.
