Jagan Meets Vallabhaneni Vamsi in Jail; Heavy Security Deployed

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy met party leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi at the Vijayawada district jail, where Vamsi is in judicial remand in connection with a kidnapping case. Jagan, who arrived in Vijayawada from Bengaluru a short while ago, went directly from the airport to the jail to meet Vamsi through the ‘mulakat’ visitation system and inquired about his well-being.

Vamsi’s wife, Pankaja Sri, was also present outside the jail during the visit. Given the high-profile nature of the meeting, authorities implemented stringent security measures around the jail. Section 144 has been enforced in the vicinity, and barricades have been set up to restrict access. Only media personnel and a few select leaders were permitted near the jail premises.

Following the meeting, Jagan is expected to address the media.
