Police Stop Vehicle of Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s Wife

Vijayawada Patamata police arrested YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi and transferred him to Vijayawada. He was taken into custody in Hyderabad and subsequently transported to Vijayawada.

During this process, Vamsi’s wife, Pankaja Sri, followed the police vehicle. At Nandigama, police intercepted her vehicle and prevented her from continuing.

Police informed her that they were heading directly to the police station and needed to complete formalities, instructing her not to follow them. She was then kept at a local driving school in the area. Reports indicate that her phone was also confiscated by the police.
