YSRCP Condemns Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s Arrest, Calls It a False Case

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has expressed strong anger over the arrest of party leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi by the Patamata police in Vijayawada in connection with a kidnapping case. The party alleged that Vamsi was arrested in a false case and condemned the police action.

Responding on the social media platform X, YSRCP stated that Vamsi had already secured anticipatory bail in the case related to the attack on the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) office in Gannavaram. The party further claimed that Satya Vardhan, who had initially filed the complaint, had recently withdrawn his complaint.

YSRCP alleged that opposition alliance leaders were deliberately targeting Vamsi and filing another false case to harass him. The party also accused the Andhra Pradesh police of unlawfully detaining Vamsi and questioned Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu, asking, “How long will these vengeful politics continue?”
