I Will Never Return to Politics; Pawan Kalyan Will Fulfill My Aspirations: Chiranjeevi

Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi has reaffirmed that he will not return to politics, stating that his sole focus is now on the film industry. Speaking at the pre-release event of the film Brahma Ananda, he addressed speculation about his recent meetings with political leaders and made it clear that he has no intention of making a political comeback.
"I will never enter politics again. Pawan Kalyan is there to fulfill my aspirations and serve the people. From now on, I am dedicating myself entirely to cinema. Many people have raised doubts after seeing me meet with senior political leaders, but there is nothing to speculate about. I am not making any political moves and will remain in the film industry," Chiranjeevi stated.
Reflecting on his political journey, Chiranjeevi spoke about the immense pressure he faced. "After entering politics, I experienced a great deal of stress. I had to criticize people, sometimes even those I had no personal issues with. There were times when I had to sit down and carefully script my criticisms," he recalled.
He also shared a personal moment with his wife, Surekha, during his political phase. "One day, Surekha asked me, 'Why have you stopped laughing?' That made me think—had I lost my sense of humor? But after leaving politics and returning to films, I found my joy again," he said.
Chiranjeevi was the chief guest at the event, which was held in Hyderabad. The film Brahma Ananda features veteran comedian Brahmanandam in the role of a grandfather, with his son Raja Goutham playing the grandson.
