Telangana MLA Mynampalli Rohith Purchases ₹3 Crore Luxury Electric SUV
Telangana MLA Dr. Mynampalli Rohith, the youngest legislator in India, has purchased a brand-new luxury electric SUV worth approximately ₹3 crore. He acquired the Mercedes-Benz G580 EQ, an electric version of the iconic G-Wagon. This vehicle was recently launched in India at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025.
Mynampalli Rohith, who won the last Assembly elections from Medak on a Congress ticket, has gained significant attention on social media following this high-profile purchase. The SUV, which he bought in a deep black shade, closely resembles the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) version of the G-Wagon.
The Mercedes-Benz G580 EQ comes equipped with two 12.3-inch displays, one for the instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system. It also features electrically adjustable seats, multi-zone climate control, adaptive cruise control, and heated and cooled seats. The vehicle is powered by four individual motors, one for each wheel, and runs on a 116 kWh battery pack.
On a full charge, this electric SUV offers a driving range of up to 473 kilometers. Additionally, it supports fast charging, allowing the battery to be recharged in just 32 minutes. The G580 EQ accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds, with a top speed of 180 km/h. The ex-showroom price of this vehicle is ₹3 crore.
