Aishwarya Rajesh's Crime Thriller to Stream in Five Languages on Amazon Prime
Aishwarya Rajesh, who enjoys significant popularity in Telugu and Tamil cinema, is actively involved in both films and web series. Now, she is set to appear in a new crime thriller web series titled Suzhal 2, which will soon be available for streaming.
The first season of Suzhal premiered on June 17, 2022, and received an overwhelming response. Since then, audiences have been eagerly awaiting the second season. Now, the series is back on track, and Season 2 is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video in five languages starting February 28.
The series stars Aishwarya Rajesh alongside Kathir, Gouri Kishan, Manjima Mohan, and Parthiban in key roles. Suzhal 2 is created by Pushkar-Gayathri, with Sarjun and Brahma directing the show.
The first season followed the story of Shanmugam, a cement factory workers' union president, whose daughter Neel was in a relationship with Athisayam, the younger brother of police officer Regina. As rumors spread about their relationship in the village, both Neel and Athisayam were found dead in a lake. Neel's sister, Nandini (played by Aishwarya Rajesh), suspected it was not a suicide but a murder, setting the stage for a gripping mystery.
With the anticipation surrounding Suzhal 2, viewers are eager to see how the story unfolds in the upcoming season.
