Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Unveils 'Shiva Shiva Shankara' Song from Vishnu Manchu’s 'Kannappa'

The highly anticipated film Kannappa, a dream project of dynamic hero Vishnu Manchu, is being produced on a grand scale under Ava Entertainments and 24 Frames Factory by Dr. Mohan Babu. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film is set for a worldwide release on April 25. As part of its promotional activities, the Kannappa team has intensified its music campaign.
The first single from the film was officially launched at the Art of Living ashram in Bengaluru by spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The event saw the presence of Mohan Babu, Vishnu Manchu, director Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannada distributor Rockline Venkatesh, actress Sumalatha, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, music composer Stephen Devassy, actor Arpit Ranka, and lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry. On this occasion, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar extended his best wishes to the Kannappa team.
"This film is deeply rooted in devotion, and having our first song unveiled by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is truly a blessing," the Kannappa team stated. Producer Mohan Babu expressed his honor in having the revered guru inaugurate the song, adding, "Kannappa is a film that resonates with Lord Shiva’s essence, and this moment adds immense spiritual value to our journey."
The song, titled Shiva Shiva Shankara, has been sung by Vijay Prakash, with Stephen Devassy composing the music and Ramajogayya Sastry penning the lyrics. Choreographed by Prabhu Deva, the lyrical video showcases breathtaking visuals from New Zealand, captivating audiences. In the Hindi version, the song is rendered by Javed Ali, with lyrics by Shekhar Astitwa.
Previously, the first-look posters of Prabhas as Rudra, Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva, and Kajal Aggarwal as Goddess Parvati received a highly positive response. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Mohan Babu, Mohanlal, Sarath Kumar, and Brahmanandam. Kannappa is scheduled for a massive release on April 25 across Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages.
