Allu Aravind Warns Against ‘Thandel’ Piracy

Film producer Allu Aravind, along with Bunny Vas, has issued a stern warning against those involved in the piracy of the movie Thandel. They condemned the recent incident where a pirated print of the film was screened on an APSRTC bus, calling it a serious issue that disrupts the film’s success.
Speaking at a press conference in Hyderabad on Monday, Allu Aravind stated that some individuals knowingly and others unknowingly participate in film piracy by sharing links via WhatsApp and Telegram groups. He warned that those involved in piracy and those promoting it are being identified, and legal cases are being filed against them, which could lead to imprisonment.
Allu Aravind noted that due to strict actions taken by the Film Chamber, piracy had significantly decreased in recent years. However, he expressed concern that over the past two months, the issue has resurfaced. He also mentioned that a similar situation occurred with Game Changer, where the film was leaked online, requiring extensive efforts to remove the links. To combat piracy, a dedicated anti-piracy cell has been set up within the Film Chamber, working round the clock to monitor and curb illegal distribution.
He further stated that individuals sharing pirated content on social media and forwarding such links are being reported to the Cyber Crime department, and arrests will be made.
Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vas under the presentation of Allu Aravind.
