Chiranjeevi and Allu Aravind Delight Fans Amid Speculations of Family Rift

For some time now, rumors have been circulating about a growing distance between the Mega family and the Allu family. These speculations gained traction during the last Assembly elections when Allu Arjun extended his support to his friend and YSR Congress Party candidate from Nandyal, Shilpa Ravi Chandra Kishore. Reports suggested that this incident widened the gap between the two families, leading to heated debates among Mega and Allu fans on social media.
The controversy deepened further after the stampede at Sandhya Theater during the "Pushpa 2" benefit show, which led to a case being filed against Allu Arjun. Following this, Chiranjeevi visited Allu Arjun’s residence to console the family. In a reciprocal gesture, Allu Arjun later visited Chiranjeevi’s home with his family. Despite these interactions, speculation about tensions between the families persisted.
When "Pushpa 2" was released and became a record-breaking success, emerging as the highest-grossing film in India, the Mega family did not publicly extend their congratulations.
This absence of acknowledgment fueled further discussions about a potential rift. However, during the recent pre-release event of the film Laila, Chiranjeevi addressed the topic while speaking about the achievements of heroes from the Mega family. He expressed his immense pride in the blockbuster success of Pushpa 2, a statement that delighted Allu Arjun’s fans. Additionally, Mega fans who wished for unity between the families also welcomed Chiranjeevi’s remarks.
Meanwhile, Allu Aravind recently clarified his comments regarding Game Changer, a film featuring Ram Charan. Speaking at a press meet on Monday, he explained an incident where he was trolled by Mega fans for allegedly downplaying Ram Charan while introducing producer Dil Raju at an event.
"This is an emotional issue. During a recent function, while welcoming Dil Raju, I unintentionally used certain words that made it seem like I was diminishing Ram Charan’s importance. Mega fans trolled me for this. A senior journalist questioned me about it, but I chose not to respond at the time. However, I now want to address it publicly. That day, I was introducing Dil Raju and mentioned that he had faced several hardships, including income tax issues, within a short span. I unintentionally used a word that hurt Mega fans. Ram Charan is like a son to me—he is my only nephew, and our relationship is excellent. It was a mistake on my part, and I should not have said it. I only used those words to describe Dil Raju’s life experiences. If Mega fans were hurt, I sincerely apologize," Allu Aravind stated.
In a matter of days, both Chiranjeevi and Allu Aravind took steps that reassured fans. While Chiranjeevi's praise for Pushpa 2 brought joy to Allu Arjun's supporters, Allu Aravind’s clarification and apology addressed concerns among Mega fans, ultimately pleasing both sides.
