ED Seizes Assets of Former YSRCP MP MVV Satyanarayana

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken action against former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MP from Visakhapatnam, MVV Satyanarayana, by seizing assets worth ₹44.74 crore belonging to Hayagriva Farms. The ED investigation has identified MVV Satyanarayana, his auditor GV, and managing partner Gadde Brahaji as key figures behind the alleged irregularities.
According to the ED, plots under Hayagriva Farms were sold, generating approximately ₹150 crore in revenue. In October last year, the agency conducted searches at the residences and offices of MVV Satyanarayana and his associates.
The ED has alleged that land earmarked for the welfare of orphans and the elderly was encroached upon. The investigation stemmed from a complaint filed on June 22 last year at the Arilova police station by Chilukuru Jagadishwarudu and his wife, Radharani, who accused MVV Satyanarayana and others of forcibly acquiring 12.51 acres of land under the Hayagriva Project in Endada. Based on this FIR, the ED initiated its probe, which has now led to the attachment of MVV Satyanarayana's assets.
