Telugu Cricketer Gongadi Trisha Receives Grand Welcome in Hyderabad – Watch Video!

Gongadi Trisha, the young cricketer from Telangana, received a warm welcome at Hyderabad's Shamshabad Airport following her stellar performance in the ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Trisha played a crucial role in India's victorious campaign, helping the team secure its second Under-19 World Cup title. She was named the "Player of the Tournament" for her outstanding all-round performance.
Upon her arrival in Hyderabad, Trisha was greeted by Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) President Jaganmohan Rao. He commended her achievements and expressed hope that more cricketers from the state would follow in her footsteps and bring laurels to the country. Trisha was accompanied by fellow cricketer Dhriti Kasar while receiving the welcome.
During the tournament, Trisha scored a total of 309 runs and took seven wickets, showcasing her exceptional skills. Notably, she was the only player in the tournament to score a century.
Born in Bhadrachalam, Telangana, Trisha displayed her cricketing talent from a young age. She picked up a bat at just two years old and by the age of nine, she was already playing for Hyderabad's Under-16 team. She later progressed to the Under-23 category before making a name for herself at the national level. At 19, she has already established herself as a key player for Team India, with many hoping she will captain the national team in the future.
