Allu Arjun Skips 'Tandel' Event – Allu Aravind Explains the Reason

Icon Star Allu Arjun was absent from the pre-release event of the movie Tandel, held in Hyderabad last night. His father, producer Allu Aravind, clarified that Allu Arjun could not attend due to severe gastric issues.
Tandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in lead roles, is set for release on February 7. The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti.
During the pre-release event, Naga Chaitanya shared that he felt a sense of fear in the final stages of the movie. He acknowledged the support of Allu Aravind and Bunny Vasu in the film’s production, stating that Geetha Arts has always held a top position in his view. He added that Bunny Vasu's 10-minute narration of the film immediately piqued his interest.
Naga Chaitanya noted that there is a significant contrast between his character, Tandel Raju, and his real life. He credited Chandoo Mondeti for giving him ample time to prepare for the role. This marks his third collaboration with the director.
Speaking about Sai Pallavi, Naga Chaitanya remarked that he had never seen such an overwhelming admiration for an actress before. He expressed that this level of one-sided adoration for an artist is unprecedented and unlikely to be seen again in the future. He further stated that Sai Pallavi truly deserves such admiration.
