'Game Changer' First-Day Collection Poster: What Did Dil Raju Say?

The film Game Changer, directed by Shankar and starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, was released during the Sankranti festival and received a mixed response from audiences. The movie also faced criticism from some quarters. A controversy erupted the day after its release when a collection poster was published, which sparked online discussions and trolling, with many alleging that the figures were exaggerated.

Meanwhile, producer Dil Raju also released another film for Sankranti, Sankranthiki Vastunnam, starring Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Meenakshi Chaudhary. This family entertainer garnered positive reception from viewers. To discuss the film’s box office performance, the distributors who released it in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh held a press meet on Saturday, where producer Dil Raju and director Anil Ravipudi answered media questions.

During the event, a journalist asked Dil Raju about the Game Changer first-day collection poster, questioning whether he personally released it or if someone else had sent it to the media. His response has now become a hot topic. Dil Raju stated, "You already know that we have weaknesses. I cannot comment on this matter. We have weaknesses and obligations, and I acknowledge that."

Addressing another question about distributor satisfaction with the film’s performance, Dil Raju remarked, "Currently, only two or three distributors handle film releases in all territories. But in this case, all the distributors are happy with the film’s success."

Distributor Hari further stated that he purchased the Nellore district rights for ₹1.6 crore and managed to recover his investment within just two days. He claimed that the film collected 400% more than the price he had paid for his territory.
