Priyamani: "Mani Ratnam’s Films Are Every Actress’s Dream"
South Indian actress Priyamani, who was once a top heroine in the industry, took a break from films after her marriage. Now, she has made a strong comeback, securing notable roles in films, web series, and television shows. She is currently busy with projects across multiple industries, including the Hindi web series The Family Man 3, which is set to release soon.
In a recent interview, Priyamani praised acclaimed filmmaker Mani Ratnam. She stated that getting an opportunity to act in his films is a great privilege. "No actress would turn down a role in his film," she said, emphasizing that she would even be willing to drop other commitments if she were offered a part in one of his projects. She further mentioned that if she ever received a call from Mani Ratnam, she would be ready to work with him at any time.
Priyamani also described Mani Ratnam as a favorite director among actresses, noting that he presents them beautifully on screen. She added that Mani Ratnam is one of the legendary directors in South Indian cinema.
