CM Chandrababu Naidu Fulfills Arya Vaishya Community’s Long-Standing Demand

The Andhra Pradesh government has made a significant announcement, bringing good news to the Arya Vaishya community. It has decided to officially observe the martyrdom day of Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari, a revered deity of the Arya Vaishya community, as a state program every year. This occasion, traditionally celebrated on the “Magha Shuddha Vidiya” tithi, will now be formally recognized as a state event. The government issued orders to this effect through Government Order (G.O.) Number 181.

Arya Vaishya associations expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for this decision. Representatives of these associations, led by Arya Vaishya Corporation Chairman Doondi Rakesh, met with the Chief Minister at the state secretariat and conveyed their appreciation for fulfilling a long-standing demand.

The Arya Vaishya community had earlier requested that the martyrdom day of Vasavi Kanyaka Parameshwari be officially recognized, and the government included this commitment in its manifesto. By issuing the official orders, the administration has honored its promise.

Prominent Arya Vaishya leaders, including Irukula Ramakrishna, Araviti Nirmala, Segu Shanmugam, and MVB Guru Brahmam, participated in the meeting with the Chief Minister to mark this significant occasion.
