Heart Attack Claim on Vivekananda Reddy’s Death: Vijayasai Reddy Clarifies

Vijayasai Reddy, who recently resigned from his Rajya Sabha membership, made sensational remarks during an interaction with the media in Delhi. Responding to questions about the murder of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy, Vijayasai Reddy was asked why he initially stated that Vivekananda had died of a heart attack.

Explaining his statement, Vijayasai Reddy said that he had received a phone call from an individual informing him of Vivekananda Reddy's death. He immediately contacted Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy to confirm the news. According to Vijayasai Reddy, Avinash Reddy handed the phone to another person nearby, who informed him that Vivekananda Reddy had died of a heart attack. Vijayasai claimed that he relayed this information to the media based on what he was told at the time.

When asked whether Avinash Reddy specifically told him that Vivekananda Reddy died of a heart attack, Vijayasai Reddy refrained from directly answering and requested the media not to probe further into the matter. However, he maintained that it was true he had contacted Avinash Reddy and that the information came from the person Avinash had handed the phone to. Vijayasai emphasized that he had shared with the media only what he was told by that individual.
