Devi Sri Prasad Suggests Janhvi Kapoor for the Item Song in 'Pushpa 3'

It is well-known that the film Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar, achieved massive success, shaking up the Bollywood box office as well. Among its highlights was the globally popular item song Kissick, performed by Sreeleela.

With the confirmation that Pushpa 3 is in development, Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), the music composer for the series, made some intriguing comments about the next installment. He expressed his opinion that Janhvi Kapoor would be an excellent choice for the item song in Pushpa 3. "Anyone who performs in a song like Kissick has the potential to achieve international fame," he stated, adding that Sreeleela was suggested by him to the filmmakers for her exceptional dancing skills.

DSP also noted that several leading actresses, including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Pooja Hegde, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sreeleela, had performed item songs at the peak of their careers. "The selection of the actress depends on the song's requirements," he explained.

Sharing his admiration for Sai Pallavi's dancing talent, DSP remarked that Janhvi Kapoor possesses the same grace that her mother, Sridevi, was famous for. This, he said, made her the ideal candidate for the upcoming item song in Pushpa 3. He also emphasized that dance plays a critical role in the success of item songs.

"Hit item songs require extraordinary dance performances," DSP concluded, reinforcing his belief that Janhvi Kapoor could bring something special to the table for Pushpa 3.
