Saif Ali Khan Attack Case: Knife’s Third Part Retrieved from Bandra Lake

Mumbai police have retrieved the third part of the knife used in the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. The discovery was made in Bandra Lake yesterday. The knife, measuring 2.5 inches in length, was broken into three parts during the attack. The first part remained lodged in Saif's body, which was later removed through surgery. The second part had already been recovered earlier, and the latest retrieval marks the third fragment.

The accused, Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, was arrested on January 16. During the investigation, police suspected that he had discarded the knife in Bandra Lake. Yesterday evening, the police took Shehzad to the location, conducted a search, and recovered the knife’s third part.

Police investigations have also revealed that approximately seven hours after the attack, the accused visited a hair-cutting salon in Worli Koliwada to shave, as confirmed by CCTV footage.
