Such Petty Acts Cannot Shake BRS’s Confidence: KTR

BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has sharply criticized the arrest of Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy by Karimnagar police, calling it an unjust and undemocratic act. He condemned the action, alleging that filing false cases and making unwarranted arrests had become a habitual practice under the Revanth Reddy-led administration.
KTR accused the government of using political power to suppress opposition voices. “Arresting an elected MLA by backing a defected legislator is nothing but a blatant display of political vendetta. Such petty acts cannot harm the morale or self-confidence of the BRS party, which was born through relentless struggles,” he stated. He demanded Kaushik Reddy’s immediate and unconditional release.
The arrest followed a heated altercation that took place yesterday during a review meeting at the Karimnagar district collector’s office. The incident involved Padi Kaushik Reddy and Jagtial MLA Sanjay, resulting in Sanjay filing a complaint. Acting on the complaint, Karimnagar police registered a case and apprehended Kaushik Reddy today in Hyderabad.
KTR reiterated that despite such actions, the BRS party would remain steadfast in its mission and would continue to fight for the people of Telangana.
