Tamil Actor Jayam Ravi Requests Fans to Stop Using His Stage Name

Tamil actor Jayam Ravi, well-known to Telugu audiences through dubbed films, is the son of renowned editor Mohan. After achieving a breakthrough with the film Jayam, Ravi adopted the film's title as his household name. However, the versatile actor has now announced that he no longer wishes to be addressed as "Jayam Ravi."
In a special Pongal (Sankranti) announcement, Jayam Ravi revealed that he would like to be called "Ravi Mohan" or simply "Ravi" from now on. He stated that this decision marks the beginning of a new chapter in his career. Alongside this declaration, he announced the launch of his own production house, Ravi Mohan Studios. “Please, I request everyone not to call me Jayam Ravi anymore,” he emphasized.
Ravi explained that his production banner aims to encourage emerging talents and bring meaningful stories to life. As part of this transformative phase, he also disclosed plans to unify all his fan clubs into a single foundation. Highlighting the importance of his fans, he stated, “My fans are my strength.”
