BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy Arrested

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy was arrested by the Karimnagar police in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The arrest occurred while he was returning after participating in a program hosted by a news channel. A team of 35 police personnel detained the MLA and began transporting him from Hyderabad to Karimnagar.

Earlier this evening, Karimnagar’s Jagtial MLA Sanjay filed a complaint against Kaushik Reddy at the Karimnagar One Town Police Station. In his complaint, Sanjay alleged that Kaushik Reddy had misbehaved and obstructed him during an event at the Karimnagar Collectorate yesterday. Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case and carried out the arrest.
