Ram Charan’s Game Changer Leaked Online: Cyber Crime Complaint Filed

The much-anticipated film Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, faced a significant setback on its release day. Despite the massive investment of crores and three years of effort, the film's HD print was leaked online, causing widespread concern. Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish, the movie released during Sankranti but was soon reported to be circulating on various piracy platforms, including Telegram and social media.

According to the filmmakers, the leak involved a coordinated effort by a group of approximately 45 individuals. They alleged that key members of the film’s team and producers had received threats on social media and WhatsApp prior to the movie's release. The perpetrators demanded a ransom, threatening to leak the movie’s piracy print if their demands were not met. A representative from the team revealed that critical plot twists were shared on social media platforms two days before the release, and the HD print was made available online immediately after the film's premiere.

The Game Changer team has filed a formal complaint with the Cyber Crime Police Station, presenting evidence against the accused group. The filmmakers expressed concerns about whether this group was acting independently or under external influence. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the allegations.

Additionally, the filmmakers accused several social media accounts of maliciously spreading negativity about the film in a premeditated manner. Clips and spoilers were shared on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, allegedly disrupting the audience's enjoyment of the movie. The team stated that they had lodged complaints against these accounts and hinted at further legal action against them.
